How NGX sectors are organised

The Nigerian Exchange (NGX) classifies its listed equities into eleven main sectors. Financial Services is by far the largest by number of listings and market capitalization, anchored by tier-one banks and insurance companies. Consumer Goods and Industrial Goods sit just behind, dominated by household names like Nestle, BUA Foods, Dangote Cement and BUA Cement.
